Whoops, sorry about that Alex, I forgot to give you credit on that one! Note: Alex wrote the Twilight Zone thing.

So, Alex, Kudos on that whole Brit thing... It reminds me of Monty Python. (If you haven't ever heard of Monty Python, either look it up now or go screw a pig. There is no excuse for liking our type of humor and not knowing the Python. Anyway, I wouldn't count on the first podcast that soon. After we find a damn camera and load the files up to the computer, then I have to figure out the RSS coding for it, and then go through the podcasting motions... So, I think that before we get to the iTunes Store, we will have a YouTube channel and a nice wildlife conservation fund named after us.

More to come;
Jordan

PS: If anyone is reading this blog other than the two of us, would you kindly let us know by dropping us an e-mail at our addresses? I'd appreciate it; I'm just interested.

First Post from Alex

Hola. It's Alex here, just saying hello. This is my first official post, even though the twilight zone one was written by me. Just testing it out. Check out our site if you haven't already: oddcast.biz.ly
I am actually surprised this idea got off the ground. Me and Jordan had tons of things like this, that never went anywhere. Hopefully we can share some of those things on our site with you. Our first podcast video should come up around this weekend, then it will get more frequent (hopefully) because school is out. Really though, don't take that as a guarantee, because honestly, I haven't the foggiest. (I have been itching to slip that phrase in something for a couple days now. The Brits are awesome)
Dear unsuspecting reader,
I believe the best way to sum up what you are about to do was already said by the great Rod Serling himself (for those of you who aren't looking it up right now, Rod Serling was the narrator of the Twilight Zone):

"You're traveling through another dimension -- a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That's a signpost up ahead: your next stop: the Twilight Zone!"

Of course, you aren't entering the twilight Zone, you are on the OddCast site. (And by the looks of the kid with the bird on his shoulder, we are already, and probably have been for some time, in the twilight zone.) So watch out, because this website will definitely provide you with some stale humor, clever political insight (well, clever through the eyes of a teenager, anyway... I guess that doesn't count for much...) and some useful things that you will need to know if you are to get by in life at all.

It actually just occurred to me that despite the fact that we already have a website, a blog, a tall building in NYC and a wildlife conservation effort, we still don't have a single podcast.

When we first thought of this idea, it didn't occur to us that we would need a camera or anything. So right now, we've sorta got a cheap artist from New Zealand and a soundboard guy from Russia talking about thinking about making a podcast.

But hey, who needs actual material? Dane Cook gets by with almost none, and most of it relates in around three degrees to a vagina.

So anyway, we're just gonna continue blogging away and webmastering, and publishing crude content. Oh, and by the way, our ALC list has reached I think 5 people. Of course, you can't see it yet because I forget how to scan stuff in as text files, and I left my flash drive in my locker, so c'est la vie. Whatever the hell that means.

Look out next week for our YouTube channel and Wildlife conservation efforts, plus our HD TV channel. And look out the week after that for some good entertainment, cuz that's the week we get a video camera and miniskirts.

Students, that's what we like to call foreshadowing and you'd do well to remember it.
